I have had three constant interests throughout my life time, Trains, Travel, and Photography.
As a child you could say that I was into photography, always using up disposable cameras taking lots of photographs of random scenes around my home and while traveling with my parents. In 2006 I decided to learn more about photography and pursue it was a serious form of art instead of a random occurrence with little meaning or inspiration.
I received an associates degree in photography in 2009 and spent a couple years doing freelance work throughout North Carolina. Having had my fill of weddings and portrait sessions at the time I decided to enjoy photography as a hobby while following a career in one of my other interests, travel. I work full time as a truck driver traveling the eastern half of this great nation. Taking photographs in my spare time while on the road and mostly photographing trains and my children when I am home.
I still do the occasional portrait session or wedding. My schedule is limited so I apologize ahead of time that my availability isn't always as flexible as other photographers.
My work has been displayed in various coffee houses, museums, and hospitals in the Foothills and Mountains of North Carolina. I have been published in several local newspapers and Branches, Smoky Mountain Living and Classic Trains magazines.
